Is Left. really free?

Yes. The core app is completely free, with no time limits and no nagging. That includes tracking income, bills, transactions, and seeing what you have left to spend.

Left Pro ($9.99 once) is for people who want the long-term picture: the debt payoff calculator, net worth history, unlimited net worth accounts, and savings goals.

Do you have a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time purchase of $9.99. Once you have it, you have it forever, on every device signed in with your Apple ID.

Does Left. connect to my bank?

No, and that's intentional. Left. is a manual-entry app. You log your income, bills, and transactions yourself. That keeps things private, fast, and free of surprise account linkages. Most people find that the small daily ritual is what actually changes their relationship with money.

Where is my data stored?

On your device, and optionally synced through your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We don't have servers. We never see your data.

If you turn off iCloud for Left. in your iPhone settings, all your data stays exclusively on your device.

Does the AI send my data to a server?

No. Left Assist, smart categorization, and receipt scanning all run entirely on-device using Apple Intelligence. Your financial data never leaves your iPhone for AI processing. It's never sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or anyone else.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

Open the app, tap any locked Pro feature, and tap Restore purchase at the bottom of the paywall.

Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy Pro originally.

What if I switch phones?

Your data syncs through your iCloud account. Sign in to your new phone with the same Apple ID, install Left., and your bills, transactions, income, and accounts will all be there. Pro restores automatically.

Does Left. work on Apple Watch?

Yes. Check your budget, mark bills paid, and log expenses straight from your wrist. The Watch app syncs with your iPhone through iCloud, so changes show up everywhere.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings inside the app and tap Start Fresh. To remove the iCloud copy as well, go to your iPhone's Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Left., and delete the data there.
